Zinsday

For Women’s Equality Day 2021,

our Women in Beer Chapter brewed an Imperial Seltzer fermented with 20% Malbec + Pinot Noir grape juice, aged on lees in freshly emptied Zinfandel barrels for four months. The oak barrels play a subdued background note while allowing our specially selected wine yeast to age gracefully, contributing to a fuller body on the mid-palate. Finishes dry with a slight wine tannin.

Filtered brilliantly clear and carbonated to present a celebratory, champagne-like experience.

Named Zinsday because on all days, we drink this new bold and bubbly red!

This innovative wine-inspired seltzer presents pink/red-ish in color so when collaborating on the name for this new brew, someone shouted “On Wednesdays, we wear pink”.  It all fell into place from there.  The movie Mean Girls inspired Miranda, our Events Coordinator, to yell out “Zinsday! Now, on all days we drink pink!” The Breck Brew Women in Beer Chapter is proud to bring you, Zinsday, the 2021 Zinfandel barrel-aged Women’s Equality Day wine-inspired seltzer!
