The Summer IPA is a new beer concept cultivating up a the Breck Brew Pub – Not as bitter as a West Coast IPA along with a reduced abv for increased drinkability. Not so low to be a “Session” IPA either. Just crisp, clean, hoppy, and crushable- An IPA you can drink on a hot sunny day without being overwhelmed by the usual bitterness. No hops added until end of boil. Whirlpool hops: Strata Hop Hash. Dry hops: Triumph, more Strata, and Colorado’s Billy Goat Hop Farm Nugget hops! Then for good measure we added Mosaic and El Dorado hop terpenes to the Brite tank.
