Vanilla Porter makes a great grilling companion, whether you’re sipping one while you prepare, spicing up your menu with it as an ingredient, or serving it to your guests. Grill-side to table-side, this medium-bodied porter, with its rich, roasted goodness and whispers of vanilla, is extremely versatile. Next time you fire up the grill, try these easy recipes...

2 bottles Breckenridge Brewery Vanilla Porter
1/4 c salt
1/4 c sugar
Mix salt and sugar into Vanilla Porter until it dissolves. Pour over chicken pieces in a large zip lock baggie. Seal baggie, and refrigerate for 4 hours. Drain chicken, and grill or smoke as desired.

Vanilla Porter Marinated Grilled Peaches

Serve these intriguing grilled peaches with chicken or pork, or alongside Vanilla Porter ice cream (see recipe below).

Just Ripe Peaches (1 for every 2 people)
Breckenridge Brewery Vanilla Porter (about 1 bottle for every 2 peaches)
Cut peaches in half and remove pits. Place in zip lock baggie and pour in Vanilla Porter. Seal baggie, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours. Grill cut side down on hot grill for about 10 minutes.

Vanilla Porter Ice Cream
One 1.5 quart container vanilla ice cream
8 oz cold Breckenridge Brewery Vanilla Porter
Allow ice cream to soften at room temperature in a large bowl. Gently fold 8 oz Vanilla Porter into ice cream. Enjoy the remaining 4 oz!
