Giving Tuesday

Our Company’s history in Colorado has taught us to cherish health, education, community and earth’s greatest gifts. It is our mission to give back to our community in ways that help others achieve what we are so fortunate to have. This year we teamed up with many local and national companies to collaborate, raise awareness and do some good.

In 2019 Breckenridge Brewery:

  • Donated to 100+ organizations
  • Donated 500+ cases of beer to support nonprofits and their programs
  • Donated 50+ auction/raffle packages to local nonprofit events
  • Almost $20k raised through major partnerships this year
  • Donated over $90k to organizations in our local community
  • The Farm House restaurant in Littleton hosted 8 dine backs in 2019 - with a percentage of food sales being donated back to a local organization.

Look back at some of the incredible accomplishments we made this year through collaborations, events and more! The year isn’t over yet we still have ways you can give back with some #BreckBrew.

HIGH COUNTRY CONSERVATION
Every tour at the Littleton location, Breckenridge Brewery donates $1 to a local organization. From January to June we gave $1 back to High Country Conservation.

FIRST DESCENTS
From July to December we give $1 back to First Descents for our tours in Littleton.

FREE RIDE FEBRUARY WITH LYFT
We wanted to encourage everyone to be smart and not drink and drive by providing 4,000 free Lyft rides to participating pubs throughout the month of February.

PINTS FOR PARKS
For the summer of 2019, we committed 2% of the proceeds of all Breck draft beer sold nationwide to benefit charities that support National Parks. To commemorate the program, we teamed up with Colorado artist, Andrew Hoffman to create 7-pint glass designs inspired by our great parks.

COLORADO AVALANCHE INFORMATION CENTER
During the month of March, while avalanches were a real threat up in the mountains for our ski family, $1 per pint of Avalanche at the Brew Pub in Breckenridge was donated to Colorado Avalanche Information Center. They work to keep the mountains safe during the crazy ski season and we wanted to help out too. We donated 20+ kegs for their Benefit Bash in Breckenridge on November 23rd. Lastly, for the rest of the year for every purchase of the Zeal X Breckenridge Brewery collaboration goggles from the BreckBrew.com website, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Colorado Avalanche Information Center.

METRO STATE UNIVERSITY
In honor of #InternationalWomensDay the Breckenridge Brewery chapter of Women in Beer brewed a Hazy Jane Double Coconut IPA. Every pour of this beer $1 was donated to a scholarship fund to support women in the Beer Industry Program at Metro State University.

WISHES & HEROS
The Corey Rose Wishes and Heros Benefit Concert furthers the mission of two non-profits, Make-A-Wish Colorado and the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation, by organizing an annual outdoor event to raise awareness and donations. This year donations totaling $51,000 were raised at the 9th annual Corey Rose Wishes and Heroes Benefit Concert on Saturday, June 22 at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton.

TAKE NOTE COLORADO
Take Note provides access to musical instruments and instruction to k-12 students in Colorado. Proceeds from every #OnTapWithKBCO summer concert benefit the incredible statewide initiative.

PROJECT AWARE

Shark Week is great and it’s even better with a cold beer in hand. This year we brewed a Cherry JAW-Some, a cherry lime-aid beer that boasts a deep red color and a subtle tinge of salt. We wanted to actually help the sharks we saw on TV so $1 from every pint sold of the Cherry JAW-Some beer was donated to Project AWARE, a nonprofit that connects the passion for ocean adventure with the purpose of marine conservation.

FREEDOM SERVICE DOGS
For Veterans Day and the rest of November, we teamed up with Freedom Service Dogs an organization that provides custom-trained service dogs to veterans and others with disabilities. We created Sours and Stripes: a 5.2% dry-hopped kettle sour with 100% Citra hops. For every pint sold of Sours and Stripes, we donated a dollar back to Freedom Service Dogs.

FOOD BANK OF THE ROCKIES
All December month-long for every pint or package sold of Christmas Ale we are donating one meal to Foodbank of the Rockies. To celebrate this cause, on December 3 from 6-9 pm, we are hosting a One-Stop-Shop for everything Christmas, including our very own Christmas tree lot, Christmas Market, carolers and more.
