Breckenridge Brewery's New Year-Round Nitro Irish Stout



Our nitro spring seasonal last year was so popular - we tweaked the recipe, made it even better, and decided to bring it to you ALL YEAR LONG.

Nitro Irish Stout is brewed with Irish malts and roasted barley to create distinguished flavors and notable dry character, while the nitrogen charge produces soft texture and a pillowy head that smooths every sip. 


 

 

“Nitro Irish Stout was a key seasonal release for us last year,” said Todd Usry, Brewmaster and President of Breckenridge Brewery. “What we felt about this beer was verified by our consumers – that this easy-drinking stout is not only great for St. Patrick’s Day and springtime, it’s a solid, delicious recipe that’s perfectly enjoyable any time of the year.”

 

You'll find the new stout with an updated can design, as part of our overall brand refresh project, and new four-pack boxes featuring sharp photography the Nitro Irish Stout's signature cascade that's guaranteed to make you thirsty. 


 

With its dry, roasty flavor, soft mouthfeel, and a lower ABV (alcohol by volume) of 4.8%, Nitro Irish Stout easily transitions to year-round distribution. “We’re excited to offer something entirely different to our wholesalers, retailers, and of course, consumers,” shared George O’Neill, Director of Sales and Marketing. “IPAs and, to some extent, sours have garnered a lot of attention for years, and while they are absolutely still relevant and enjoyable, we’re pleased to offer something roasty, sessionable, and smooth to satisfy other tastes.”
