Trademark Pale Ale Battered Fish
1-1/2 cups Trademark Pale Ale
2 cups flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. turmeric
2 lbs. fillet of sole
Oil for deep-frying
Mix
Trademark Pale Ale
, flour, eggs, pepper, onion powder, and turmeric. If it is too thin, thicken with additional flour, if too thick add more beer!
Dry each piece of fish with paper towels. Heat oil to 375 degrees.
Dip fish pieces in batter and deep-fry for 5-10 minutes. Turning occasionally.
Drain fish on paper towels and serve immediately with Chips (French Fries) & malt vinegar.
