An Avalanche of Fun at Breckenridge Brewery

We had some very special guests at the brewery this week to help us brew Avalanche Amber Ale! Alexis Perry, host/producer for Colorado Avalanche hockey team, came over with Ice Girls to get a 100-barrel batch of Avalanche beer cooking. Mascot Bernie even got in on the fun!

Avalanche Amber Ale was first poured at Breckenridge Brewery’s pub in the mountain town of Breckenridge in 1990. How fitting that we had guest brewers in the house from the Colorado Avalanche organization! Cheers to Avalanche!

This batch of Avalanche will be ready for enjoyment in several weeks, but there’s a good chance you’ll find Avalanche Amber Ale today at your local store or favorite watering hole. Check breckbrew.com/beer-locator for a location near you. You’ll also find Avalanche on tap at the Pepsi Center in Denver, so be sure to grab one at your next Avs or Nuggets game!
