Area Sales Manager

Job Description:

  • Drive Craft beer volume and share growth in top Craft wholesalers 
  • Retailer call frequency to monitor sell-through velocity, check trade program execution, and build relationships 
  • Provide direct input from the market to Regional Sales Manager
  • Sales analysis to evaluate and target new accounts and other opportunities in the market 
  • Leveraging commercial resources to grow area volume and share  
  • Execution of National sales strategy and standards – distribution, promotion and merchandising
  • Delivering against business targets for the area (volume, share, distribution, profit, cost management) 
  • Developing strategic choices and resource allocation within the area and taking into account the impact of decisions on customer, brand equity, share, Breckenridge reputation, distribution and the competitive environment 
  • Managing the execution of Brand programs 
  • Leading sales team in territory analysis and annual planning 
  • Providing feedback and input on brand programs, channel strategies and tactical marketing initiatives 
  • Managing sales budget and market spending 
  • Coaching, developing and performance management for Sales Representatives 
  • Representing Breckenridge in the community


  • B.S/B.A Degree in Finance, Business, Marketing or related field required 
  • 3+ year's experience in the consumer products industry 
  • 2+ years of craft brewery experience
  • Previous sales background with experience related to retail account management 
  • Effective communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Warehouse Team Member


Breckenridge Brewery, Warehouse Team Member, is primarily responsible for ensuring all orders are in place for delivery at scheduled time. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.


  • Prepare and palletize cases/kegs for delivery, including loading and unloading delivery trucks
  • Must be able to operate forklift
  • Ensure maintenance on forklift
  • Must be willing/able to work extremely flexible hours including weekends
  • Provides positive teamwork efforts to achieve company results
  • Must be willing to learn Warehouse responsibilities including cleaning the warehouse space
  • Understand Packaging procedures
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment in all areas including palletizing area while complying with rules and regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred
  • Ability to carry/lift 50-165lbs. and work safely in a loud and/or hot work environment
  • Fork Lift Certified, or ability to obtain one soon after hiring
  • Must be flexible to work day, afternoon, and midnight shifts, including weekends and holidays. 


  • High School Diploma required

Supplemental Information:

  • This position requires successful completion of pre-employment background check, driving records and drug screen.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends. Occasionally, due to business needs, the incumbents may receive short notice on working nights and/or weekends.
  • Must be able to work overtime based in business needs

AM (Account Manager)

Job Description:

  • Work with distributor sales force and retailers in your assigned universe to increase distribution and velocity on the Breckenridge Brewery family of brands 
  • 100% focus on gaining or expanding distribution of brands in On and Off retail accounts 
  • Improve velocity in accounts by building displays, driving distribution, resetting coolers, displaying point of sale items, educating retail employees, hand selling, sampling, securing features, developing promotional programs 
  • Conduct beer tastings, attend weekend festivals and evening promotions 
  • Identify key accounts that are not being penetrated with Breckenridge Brewery products, and develop a plan to establish sustained business with such accounts 
  • Add value to all key accounts by offering creative, impactful support and by keeping the accounts informed about the goings on at Breckenridge Brewery 
  • Know the key decision makers and influencers in the assigned territory, increase or develop partnerships in these arenas 
  • Develop market profile target lists and plans to deliver volume goals 
  • Drive distribution and velocity weekly through visiting a minimum of 10 accounts daily 
  • Add value to the distributor by helping with the growth of the Breckenridge brand and education of the distributor sales force 
  • Develop a keen understanding of how the distributor works and make sure Breckenridge Brewery is positioned to win in your assigned universe 
  • Have knowledge of who key people are at distributor(s) and how best to add value to their business 
  • Work with distributor sales reps and managers on a regular basis, at least one ride with weekly 
  • Ensure the Wholesaler is aware of developments at Breckenridge Brewery 
  • Ensure our portfolio is broadly represented and in distribution 
  • Assist with inventory management, POS ordering, insuring proper handling of product

  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills are a must

  • Proven ability to positively affect brands within the three tier system 
  • An understanding of the Brewing process, Beer styles and the story of the Breckenridge Brewery 
  • Bachelors Degree

  • Clean driving record and a working vehicle 
  • Ability to lift cases of beer and build displays 
  • Salary based on experience
